Project description – TerraNIS was the winner of the Copernicus Challenge organized by CNES and Aerospace Valley on the theme of Agriculture. The objective of the project is to estimate the harvested areas in the United States from Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-1 images and Sen4Cap processing chains. This challenge, proposed by Descartes Underwriting, should provide statistics on agricultural production for applications in the insurance field.
