Project description – WineEO is a collaborative project between TerraNIS and CESBIO (Centre for Space Studies of the Biosphere) financed by the European Space Agency (ESA) and whose objective is to pursue the industrialization of the Sat’Irr tool used for irrigation management.

This project has three components:

a scientific component aimed at adapting the water balance model currently used to the specificities of the vine;
a technical component to enrich the current platform with new functionalities and to improve the user experience;
an experimental component with the implementation of pilot projects in different vineyards in Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Chile.
